Create an Agent with GoPost.io

To Create an Agent for Posting Content: Watch the video below and follow along to create an agent for posting content. Or follow the steps below to create an agent for posting content to social media. Click the Button “Create a New Agent” Now Select Your Agent Type You got two options Local Post Agent Cross Post Agent Local Post Agent allows you to upload content from your computer or select from your GoPost Upload Library and post your content to one or more target social platforms. Cross Post Agent allows you to get existing content from a social media platform, for example Instagram, and post your content with all metadata to one or more target social platforms such as YouTube and LinkedIn. Let us see Local Post Agent in Action now Select Local Post Agent as Agent Type Click Select or Upload Media Button Select existing media from the GoPost Library Or upload new media from your computer Select a couple of videos and an image from the upload library Click the Select button Your media will be added to the Local Post Agent Select the Target Platforms Select Instagram and choose the account to post Select the content type for Instagram (Post) Add LinkedIn and select the account to post Click Complete Agent Setup Your Local Post Agent to Instagram and LinkedIn is created. Now let us see Cross Post Agent in Action Select the Agent Type as Cross Post Select the Source as Instagram and choose the content type (Reels, Posts, Stories) Select YouTube and LinkedIn as Target platforms and choose content types Click Complete Agent Setup Your Cross Post Agent from Instagram to YouTube and LinkedIn is created. In the next video, I will show how you can post content to selected target social platforms using the created Agent.

Connect to a Social Media Platform within GoPost.io

To Connect to a Social Media Platform: Watch the video below and follow along. Or follow the steps below to connect to a social media platform. Click the burger button, click the Connect to a Channel button, or click the “+” icon Choose the social media platform you want to connect to (YouTube in this case) Give the connection a name Select the permission type as “Standard” Click Connect It will redirect to the YouTube Single Sign-On page Select the YouTube account you want to connect If you have multiple channels, select the channel you want to connect Click Continue For GoPost access permission to your YouTube channel, click “Select All” Click Continue Your YouTube channel is now connected to GoPost, and you’re ready to start posting by creating an agent!

Get Started – User Guide For GoPost.io

Step 1 – Go to GoPost.io Step 2 – Sign Up or Log In New Users → Click Start for Free and sign up with Google, Facebook, or email. Existing Users → Click Login and sign in using SSO or username and password. Step 3 – Access Your Workspace After login, you’ll land in your GoPost workspace (Dashboard). Dashboard Overview Your dashboard has three main sections: 1. Left Navigation Connect or disconnect your social media accounts (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google Drive, etc.). 2. Top Navigation Here you’ll find: Home → Access user guides, tutorials, and create new Agents. All Agents → View and manage all Agents you’ve created. Uploads → See all content uploaded into GoPost. Current Plan → Check your active plan. Available Credits → Track remaining posting credits. Upgrade → Upgrade or downgrade your plan. Notifications → Updates and alerts (coming soon). FAQs → Common questions and answers (coming soon). 3. Main Workspace This area changes depending on what you select: Home Get Started Guide → Opens the onboarding guide. Create a New Agent → Start setting up a posting Agent. All Agents → View all Local and Cross-Post Agents. Uploads → Browse uploaded content. Plan & Credits → Manage subscriptions and credits. Step 4 – Create an Agent An Agent in GoPost is your posting workspace where you define: Source → Where content comes from. Target → Where content will be published. There are two types of Agents: 1. Post from Local Agent Source → Upload content from your computer or GoPost Upload Library. Destination → Platforms like YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google Drive. Best for → Uploading new content. 2. Cross-Post Social Agent Source → Existing content from Instagram. Destination → YouTube, LinkedIn, other Instagram accounts, or Google Drive. Best for → Repurposing Instagram content. Step 5 – Review Content, Schedule or Publish After creating an Agent, you can manage all content in one place before posting. 1. Review Content Open your created Agent. View all content items with image or video previews. Each item shows its status: Published → Content is live. Scheduled → Content is scheduled. Ready to Schedule → Ready to publish or schedule. 2. Edit Metadata Click Edit Metadata to update: Title – Platform-friendly title. Description – Captions, links, hashtags. Tags / Hashtags – Improve reach. Thumbnail – Upload or select a thumbnail. Platform Settings – Public, Private, or Unlisted (YouTube). Metadata optimization improves platform performance. 3. Schedule or Publish Schedule → Set date and time. Publish → Post immediately. Cancel scheduled posts if needed. 4. Platform Overview See selected platforms for each post. Track status indicators at a glance. Use Select All Available to publish or schedule multiple items. ✅ In Short Sign up or log in to your workspace. Explore the dashboard and connect accounts. Create an Agent and define source and destination. Edit metadata, then schedule or publish content across platforms.

Publish or Schedule Content to Social Platforms using GoPost.io

The video below will guide you through publishing content to social media using a created agent within GoPost. How Cross-Post Agents Work Let’s see how a Cross Post Agent works by publishing Instagram content to YouTube and LinkedIn. Go to the All Agents page Select the Instagram → YouTube / LinkedIn cross-post agent You will be redirected to the Agent Details page The Agent Details page includes the following features: Displays all content pulled from the source platform (Instagram) Select a target platform such as YouTube or LinkedIn Edit metadata to update descriptions, thumbnails, tags, and more Schedule content for a future date using the Schedule option Publish content immediately by selecting one or more items Use Refresh to check publishing status (Published or Failed) Search for specific content using the search feature Filter content by status: Published, Scheduled, Unpublished, Failed Sort content by creation date (Newest or Oldest) You can repeat these steps for additional target platforms such as LinkedIn. We are currently working on Smart / Auto Scheduling features. Once available, you’ll be able to select multiple pieces of content and click Auto Schedule. GoPost’s algorithm will automatically distribute posts across multiple days based on optimal engagement times for each platform.
